Clients’ Protection

IDF’s clients’ protection program was launched in 1997 which offers protection against health diseases, death, project damages, and livestock deaths. Members, spouses, and children under 18 receive free medical treatment with medicines and reimbursement for severe illness requiring hospitalization. The death coverage provides Tk. 5,000 for funeral expenses and amount of money equivalent to his/her outstanding loan amount. For project risk, members can claim up to 50% of loan value for losses due to accidents or disasters, while livestock risk offers 100% reimbursement for cattle purchased with loans.
