Water Credit Project
Water.org has been active in Bangladesh since 2004, implementing the Water Credit Model through its eight Microfinance Institution (MFI) subsidiaries across 62 districts. Recently, Water.org, in collaboration with the Institute of Microfinance (INM), launched the Water Credit Adoption Model, selecting 10 subsidiary organizations, including Integrated Development Foundation (IDF), to receive technical assistance for program implementation.
IDF began its project in August 2021, aiming to integrate the Water Credit Adoption Model in its operational areas to ensure marginalized communities access safe water and sanitation loans under favorable terms.
Integrated Development Foundation (IDF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to combating poverty in the remote, hilly, and underserved regions of Bangladesh.
