Innovation Hub

IDF established the Integrated Innovation Hub in 2009 in Rasulpur at Matiranga Upazila of Khagrachari District, to provide training to local farmers for improved livelihoods. The 55-acre farm includes fruit, forest, and medicinal trees, a Red Chittagong Cattle (RCC) farm, a Black Bengal goat farm, fish farming ponds, spice plants, vegetable and flower gardens, and nurseries.

In 2014, a residential agricultural training institute was set up with Japanese funding to provide hands-on training in livestock breeding, horticulture, fisheries, and home gardening. Farmers receive financial and technical skills, with refresher courses offered to ensure continued use of modern agricultural practices. Additionally, a natural eco village is under construction in the farm for the staff of IDF and other similar organizations.
