Integrated Development Foundation (IDF) is implementing a project titled ‘Facilitate access to crop-based finance to enhance vegetable production by 2,500 farmers in Cox’s Bazar and Bandarban District’ financed by USAID/Chemonics International Inc. The goal of the project is to strengthen the vegetable sector and increase cash flow in Cox’s Bazar and Bandarban district by facilitating capacity building training on production and technology, linkage-building workshops, exposure visit etc. to the low-income population of the target area.
Under this project, 2500 farmers are provided training on post-harvest management, safe vegetable production using modern technology. Among them, 1750 farmers are provided with seasonal loans for vegetable production.
