Detection of the Disease
The disease was diagnosed in Dhaka Bardem Hospital in September 2022. First when the bleeding started after some time he was admitted to Chittagong Medical College, after admission the doctor instructed him to do some tests and verbally told him that an operation might be required. After a few hours, when the patient started to become restless, after seeing the patient’s condition and talking to the patient, the patient’s family took the patient out of the hospital on their own responsibility and later showed Dr. Jasim Uddin. Doctor asked him to do several tests. No disease could be diagnosed after the examination, then when the patient was shown to another doctor, the doctor asked him to do the factor test. The patient went to Dhaka Bardem Hospital without taking the test as before, then the doctor of the hematology department analyzed all the patient’s information and gave the patient several tests including the factor. After the test, the patient was diagnosed with hemophilia B (IX) and the patient was immediately given 08 bags of FFP. Then when the patients contacted the Bangladesh Hemophilia Society, Chittagong Chapter, they registered with the society after a detailed discussion about the treatment and the importance of physiotherapy in the treatment of such patients. Later, the patient came to the physiotherapy center managed by IDF, after all the assessment of the patient, his hemoglobin test and X-ray of his hand were done, as the hemoglobin level was good, his physiotherapy treatment was started. On the first day of treatment, the company’s physiotherapist discussed with Senior Physiotherapy Consultant Yachmin Ara Dolly through telehealth and fixed the treatment process and the patient recovered through 73 sessions in 46 days.
