Agreement Signing Ceremony among IDF and Chittagong University(CU).

The country’s first single-river research laboratory “Halda River Research Laboratory” has been established in the Biological Faculty of Chittagong University with the assistance of IDF and PKSF. It is the only single river research laboratory of Bangladesh. Not only CU, but other universities of the country can also conduct and register research activities here.

An agreement was signed between Integrated Development Foundation (IDF) and Chittagong University (CU) at the Vice-Chancellor’s office room on October 09, 2018 for the maintenance and development of  Halda Research lab. According to this agreement IDF would provide all kinds of support to the overall development of “Halda River Research Laboratory”. A meeting was held on this occasion with Prof. Dr. Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury, Vice-Chancellor,CU in the chair. Mr. Zahirul Alam, Executive Director(IDF), Mr. Prof.Shahidul Amin Chowdhury,Founder member(IDF), Mr. Mozurul Kibria,Coordinator, Halda Research Lab and Professor,Department of Zoology(CU), Dr. Showkat Ara Begum, Chairman,Department of Zoology(CU), K.M Nur Ahmed, Register(Acting),CU were present at this time. Mr. Zahirul Alam on behalf of IDF and K.M Nur Ahmed on behalf of Chittagong University signed this agreement.
