Job Title: Coordinator – Health Program

Job Context:

Integrated Development Foundation (IDF) is a non-profit, non-political development organization established in December 1992. Mission of IDF is to combat poverty in the impassable hilly regions and other un-served areas of Bangladesh by providing poor citizens with financial and opportunities such as capital, inputs, appropriate safety-nets and services to ensure their socio-economic upliftment. IDF started health services, sanitation and safe water program in its project areas in 1995. IDF implements this program through medical officers (MBBS), paramedics, health workers and health agents.

Job Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of the Coordinator – Health Program are as follows:

  • Overall implementation of the Health Program activities including Monitoring and Follow up the program activities & accounts on a day to day basis and solve problems.
  • Identity training needs for team members including health agents to increase their performance.
  • Delegate work to team members and monitor proper implementation.
  • Ensure telehealth services through medical officers, paramedics and health agents.
  • Preparation of monthly-yearly action plan with budget and progress report and submit to the Executive Director/ Director.
  • Ensure proper management of the health care centers continuity under the health program and send monthly progress report .
  • To maintain strict confidentiality of information, documents and other internal and external communications.
  • To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by the IDF Authority as and when necessary.

Educational Requirements:

MBBS from any recognized University & BMDC Registration.

Experience Requirements:

At least 05 years experience with 03 years practical experience in project coordination, management, and implementation.

Additional Requirements:

  • Age at most 50 years.
  • Written and oral communication skills both in English & Bangla.
  • Good command on MS-Office (MS word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Analytical and Report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Willingness to travel to, and work in, remote areas.

Job Context:

The Sustainable Enterprise Project (SEP) project aims at promoting entrepreneurs who will be involved at different level of value chain of dairy products. Each entrepreneur involved in each level of value chain is expected to operate his/her business at sustainable level. The sustainability of milk chilling center and relevant business entities will be operational along with the animal health center: with close relationship with livestock service providers and Micro-Enterprises; as the target area is at peri-urban the rapid reach of milk and dairy product will ensure a good market opportunity for the Micro-Enterprises product addressing positive environment.

The objective of SEP is to increase the adoption of environmentally sustainable practices by targeted micro-enterprises. The project prioritizes a selected number of polluting micro-enterprises business clusters and supports the expansion of innovative economic activities conducive to a more sustainable environment.

Job Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of the Project Manager are as follows:

  • Overall implementation of the project activities including Monitoring and Follow up the project activities and accounts on a day to day basis.
  • Identity training needs for team members to increase their performance.
  • Delegate work to team members, dairy farmers and monitor proper implementation.
  • Solve day to day problems.
  • Preparation of monthly and yearly action plan with budget and implement these efficiently.
  • To maintain strict confidentiality of information, documents and other internal and external communications.
  • To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by the IDF authority as and when necessary.

Educational Requirements:

Masters in any discipline from Public University. Priority will be given to the graduates of Animal Husbandry related subject.

Experience Requirements:

At least 03 years practical experience in project coordination, management, and implementation. Able to show working experience on PSKF Financial support related projects (such as  Dairy farm, Milk processing, and marketing) will get preference.

Additional Requirements:

  • Age at most 40 years. Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications.
  • Strong Analytical and Report-writing skills.
  • Good command on MS-Office (MS word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
  • Written and oral communication skills both in English & Bangla.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
